I got lucky with BB price matching... - Blu-ray Forum

I preordered Weeds Season 3, Cloverfield, and There Will Be Blood all from amazon but once people started saying how they weren't going to be shipping those out for a while, I got the prices for all those movies from walmart.com and tried to get BB to price match them. The manager said that they usually don't but since he was a nice guy he would do it. I pretty much got those 3 movies at amazon prices from BB. It was a good day.

I've always had Best Buy price match Wal Mart and Target. One of the main reasons I have no need for Prime, and I still get Reward Zone points as well.

A nice guy my ass, I've always known BB for price matching, especially Walmart. He's just saying that so you won't ask for a price match in the furture.

did you just have to print the the page from walmart.com and show them at customer service ? I need to start doing this

I had no problems at all. They didn't even question me. I'm wondering if I could just make up numbers on any movie.

i price matched targets online price $19.99 cloverfield blu at local target store and it worked.

I took a printout of WM.com's $19.86 for Cloverfield to Best Buy last week. There was only one cashier, and she didn't seem to care whether it was a .com or not, and whichever manager she summoned over to authorize it seemed to have other, better stuff to do than haggle over a price match.

I told them about sear's NT2 price of 19.99 they called them up and then I gave them a 10.00 off coupon and got it for 10.00 no hassles. Sometimes I get someone who wants to hassle me and call up all the stores to see if it is actually in stock though.
