Guys, not sure where to post this - what Region code does Dubai fall under? And where would i get a list of what blu rays have been released there? (a friend is there doing some shopping!

)

I believe they are B

you could link ur friend to this .......

Orange is A ...
Green is B
Purple is C

However looking at your location I think you would both be B

Huh, its orangishyellow on south america ... africa is green .. and dubai is part of the united arab emirates which is located in like that part of the top right of africa ...

How is the Burj Dubai Skyscraper comming along? I check the website from time to time. It is around 160 - 170 floors now, the worlds tallest structure. And it is not even finished. Rumered to be 200 floors when done. Looks real cool from the pics I have seen. Dubai is one of the places I want to visit sometime.

It has topped out in January at 818 meters. Meanwhile Kuwait's City of Silk, is planning Burj Mabarak, a 7.37 billion 1,001 meter (3,300 ft) building to be compleated by 2016. Its height Inspired by the tale One Thousand and One Nights. The Madinat Al Hareer.

wow thats sounds very impressive! Its not myself that is going to Dubai, my girlfriend is there at the mo and she very kindly said she'd get me a couple of blus!

If she is near that building i will ask her to take a few snaps and i will send them on to you when she is back!

I live in dubai and i have been struggling to find decent shops selling blu-rays, so plz tell me if u know any shops in here...i always order from amazon and ebay but it takes a while to reach me :s

iam from ABU DHABI but in weekend i go to dubai and you can find alot blu ray movies in mail of emirates,and the store is vergin mega store but most of them is Region free,and the prize is 43us but the old one is 36us,
for my self i just bought phillips bdp 7200 and plainning to buy the second which is sony bdp s350,,most of movies i have them from US which i have over 250 blus,,,,i hope that help both of you and feel free to ask anything

I think amazon is best if you don't get that in local store but make sure it is region free before ordering.

Ebay is good i will buy many over there too.
