Default Pioneer 20 series, 1fd, and signature series 1fd users thread

I just got my pro-151fd hooked up yesterday and wanted to give some first impressions of it. It goes very, very black and doesn't seem to crush the detail. I was watching Open Season and the logo came on the screen and you could just faintly tell there was a tv around the logo. As soon as I figure out how to put pics up in home theater pics forum I will have that screen posted for sure, as the tv is in a pure black room it looks cool and shows what this tv can do. This is the first time I've been able to test 24p and it is much smoother then the xbr2 I was using. I have the pic mode to movie and am going for 1000 hrs before I have it calibrated. After further playing and after calibration I will post more.

i have the elite pro-110....i could have traded it in for the new 111 for an extra 500 dollars upgrade fee....i eventually decided not to because i felt that there probably isnt that big of a difference between the 2...just wondering if anybody viewed the new 111 or 151 and felt like it was that much better than the previous generation
