Its been 6 years since Marvel VS Capcom 2. Does anyone have any idea if or maybe when M vs C 3 could possibly come out on a PS3?

I'm 6 years older now. I don't think I will be able to generate 120 hit combos anymore.

I don't think Capcom's in any hurry to re-acquire the Marvel license. I also heard about an anti-consumer single-dev. exclusive thing happening awhile back, but I don't remember anything real or provable.
They should regain it though: and use it to make MvC3 and reprint the other games on a compilation. |

Forget the PS game, do what Xbox360 did with Soul Calibur, bring the MvC2 from Dreamcast to the PS Store. I would not need to download it because I still have the DC version.
And doesnt Activision have the Marvel rights now from Marvel Ultimate Alliance? I think EA was the last company to do a fighting game, but I doubt they still have the rights. |

I too still have Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 on Dreamcast. I still have all my 2D fighters on Dreamcast sitting safely on the shelf, including MvC 1 & 2, Capcom Vs SNK 1 & 2, Project Justice, Street Fighter Alpha III, SF III: Double Impact and Third Strike.
If any of those games were to be made available as downloads from PSN and online playable, I'd seriously crap myself. That would kick the PSN up a few notches. As for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, it's only possibility of happening is if Sega and Capcom can come together on a deal. Sega now holds the license to the Marvel universe, and the first two games out were Iron Man and Incredible Hulk. Capcom and Sega have a good history together, given the huge number of games Capcom released for Dreamcast, so a deal is a slim possibility. If the upcoming release of Street Fighter 4 is very successful, maybe they'll try and figure out how to get Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 done too. |

Hopefully with the success that Marvel is having with their films and future films and along with Capcom and Sega still doing video games, we as fans and paying consumers would be in consideration with the business minds at these companies. It would be nice to see characters from Devil May Cry, Onimusha, and others go against Spidey, Hulk, and the rest of the Marvel Universe. |

They should make a Capcom vs. almost everything fighting game; kind of like how Cross Edge has characters from all over the place.

We all played the Marvel games. Lets move forward and let there be a Capcom vs DC game. I would like to see a 2-D drawn Batman.
