im looking into purchasing the sony str dg820 , and I cant seem to find outwhat hdmi version it has... can anyone help >?>>

Sorry to hear that. I am not really surprised however having this kind of thing happen to me in the past. Wonder if the ridiculously low price point has something to do with the delay and the ability to get available supply.

I ordered mine from TechDepot. Called last night and they erased the shipping charge for me. I checked Sony's site today and the 820's (which I ordered) are now in-stock and shipping. Here's to hoping it will come sooner than the end of July.
