GTA4 Online Set Up Help - Blu-ray Forum

I just got GTA4 today for my PS3 and an update came up for me to download in order to play online. After trying for a long time, it does not download because of some error! I already installed the game and played it and I even put in COD4 to go online and I did. Should I just try again tomorrow or is there a bigger issue? I'm using a wireless connection.

I bought the game when it launched and it will always disconnect when I am connected to the internet on a wired connection, but if I use wireless it will play fine. I don't get it, the patch did nothing for me. Guess I can play single player all the time

It's not the game. I play just fine (wired connection, cable modem).

Are you on cable modem or DSL? My cousin is on DSL and he says that if he hosts the online game, he's fine, but when he isn't hosting, he sometimes gets disconnected. Don't know if this is just his setup or a DSL issue, but thought I'd mention it.

i use just modem connection on my ps3 and i downloaded the patch for GTA no problem
