Dewmocracy Poll / Thoughts on new Dew - Blu-ray Forum

OK, so there was a tread from 4 months ago on this, but lacked a poll.

If you haven't noticed, Mountain Dew has 3 new test flavors, created by "Dew-drinkers".

Voltage - Blue drink, Raspberry Citrus Flavor infused with Ginseng
Shockwave - Red/Purple drink, Strawberry and Melon flavor infused with Ginseng
Revolution - Lighter Blue drink, Wild Berry flavor infused with Ginseng

I wanted to see a poll and discussion here on what people thought of them. I think it's great that Dew is expanding like this, and also that they are taking this approach to the new Dew (choosing the 3 most popular designs, because there were more designs) and then selecting the one that is most popular (which I think they will base more on sales figures than on the "votes").

So, pick what one you like, comment as you want. I'll make my comments and selections in another post, and get the poll up shortly.

I won't vote since I haven't tried tham, but I have seen them. If the made them in diet, I would've tried them by now. Love me some diet dew!

Yes. This rocked, and I was disappointed when this died out.

From what I dug up, the reason for the big failure in Crystal Pepsi was due to the launch of "under the cap" contests. They failed to realize that with Crystal Pepsi, you could just turn the bottle upside-down, and see if it had a winning cap. They had fixed that for future clear drinks, but I think it just passed someone's mind when they put it on all Pepsis, forgetting about the clarity in Crystal Pepsi. Hence, ones with losing caps did not sell, so it flopped.

Yeah and it had a slightly weird texture when it did. It felt...obscene to drink it somehow
