MPI Home Video will release The Original Faces Of Death (1978) on Blu-ray October 7th, which has been banned from 46 countries. It will include scene access and interactive menus. 5.1 audio upgrade.

Back in the mid 80's I went and screamed at the VHS rental guy stupid for renting this is my little brother. Oddly, he's a nurse today.

I did eventually watch it myself and found it deeply disturbing. I still remember the guy who was attacked by the guard dogs and killed, and the guy who had his legs bit off by crocs.

The most disturbing was the Satanist group who devoured a body and had bloody orgies. They stopped short of showing even more. Disgusting. So sorry for the spoilers, people.

This is definately a MUST NOT SEE.

Well Marine Mike, how ironic that I remember seeing this for the first time while I was a young Marine bored in the barracks. Nothing like a bunch of teenage jarheads too pumped up and not enough to do!!!!! Head out to the video store and rent Faces of Death. Those were the good ol days

I've seen them all.

I wouldn't really buy them on BD.

Theres better things to be released way before these, plus I've seen worse than these, they arn't that shocking.

If I wanna see fake shock-schlock, I'd rather have "Cannibal Holocaust" be released on BD. At least that's got a plot!...

Some stuff in there is fake. Some of it is real. Still, there was a thread today about movies that you would not want to see on blu-ray...this is one for me. I just cannot see a need at this early stage of the formats adaption to press, package, market, and sell this movie.

About 40% of the original faces is fake, the rest is real. That's more than enough to keep me away haha.
