Exclamation New Blu-ray players arrive 3rd & 4th quarter!

**Remember the size & price tag of the BDPS1 from Sony 2 years ago????
HA!!!!!

Sony is prepping for the release of their new BDPS350 & BDPS550 lines.

However, after just speaking with my Samsung contact, keep your eyes peeled for the BDP2500 coming late summer/early fall '08!

Supposedly it's going to have "DVD player-like" load speed, stream line appearance & best of all a nice pricetage with UNILATTERAL PRICING around $300- $350, MAX!!!
I hope they're right!

Samsung is set to release a new BD-Live player this September. The Samsung BD-P2500 is reported to feature an HQV video processor for optimal DVD upconversion, and decoding support for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. For those of you without HDMI receivers, the player will feature 7.1 analog outs.

Pricing is expected to be around €450 which is just over $700.

This is just pre-release info i thought i'd share as my first post. I just love new toys!
The PS3 is a decent player to also be a gaming console.
