Default Cables wont fit, decision time.

Ok, so with the wonderful help of a few forum members my setup is near completion. I have the Onkyo 805 receiver and I'm ready to hook up my banana clips and get my audio rolling. One problem, the receiver just fits as it is, if the clips are to be inserted I have to cut out a panel from my new media center (It's solid wood too not that flimsy cardboardlike sheet).

I'm guessing I can also just wrap the cables up without the clips or cut the panel out. What would YOU do?

I would just connect as is without the banana plugs, it won't make a difference.

I agree. Banana plugs are a good convenience.... but if you have to modify your stand....it negates the whole principal.

actually, you can delete this thread. I wasn't thinking.

I assumed that since the reciever was just flush with the glass that by adding these banana plugs there'd be no way it would fit but I forgot to factor in that there was already space there from the power cable.
duh!
