no schedule.... SOmetimes we get the release we want (without any notice). Like I've been waiting for underdog, thinking of importing. but suddenly just appeared on my HMV.

but for Mrs. doubtfire, I heard none. I imported from USA. Mind it's region locked. You need PC drive or Japanese/American PS3.

I use Japanese PS3

It may not be in the UK but Mrs Doubtfire is headed for blu-ray in Holland on September 3rd 2008.

I think that a UK release would not be far behind.

Well for a start there is no ntsc with blu-ray it's all 1080p HD. Yeah you could get alot of blu-rays for 300 but think about how many more you can get with region A player there are vastly more titles available on region A as it's both the US and JAP region code

the transfer is fantastic

Robin Williams' performance of 'matchmaker' and his send up of Barbara Streisand always cracks me up!

I still don't understand why Mrs. Doubtfire had a transfer to BD. Don't get me wrong because it was good movie but IMO, action/special effects movies look and sound best on BD.
