Fixing Picture Quality - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, my mom has this movie on VHS that she loves called "The Two Worlds of Jenny Logan". If you havent seen it, its about a woman who when she puts on a dress she is transported from 1979 to 1899 where she meets an artist and she falls for him. She eventually decides to stay in 1899 with him.

I have been looking for this movie on DVD for my mom, but I have not been able to find it. I was thinking of running the movie through my computer and fixing the picture quality. What programs would I need? I already have Sony Vegas.

Here is a list of stuff that is evident due to degradation of the tape
-Line in the picture for the first 10 minutes
-Really Blurry picture (I dont think it is even 240 lines of resolution)

I really wana do this for mom for her birthday coming up.

Good luck fixing that, no consumer application will do it.

There are VHS copies available on Amazon... maybe a replacement tape would be a better idea.
