You shouldn't need a driver. Windows should auto-detect the drive once its properly installed. Firmware is a bigger issue. It's a Matshita/Panasonic drive, but they only sell it as OEM, and don't provide firmware direct to customers. You need to find out what brand machine the drive came out of (most seem to be Dells, but I've seen others) and get firmware updates from that manufacturer.

As for software, did the drive you purchased come with either PowerDVD BD or WinDVD BD? If not, what software are you using? Was their software included already on your Vaio? The AACS key update is a function of the playback software and will need to be updated periodically. It should be as simple as using the software update feature of your playback software, but if you provide additional info on the playback software you are using I can give you more specific help.

Take care,
Brian
