Default Hellraiser Coming to Blu!

Get ready horror fans Hellraiser will be raising some horror in Blu. Maybe this has been posted before, but I did a search and did not find it . Per Home Media Magazine. The information referenced above in mentioned in "From the Beginning to 2008 and Beyond" in the Anchor Bay/ Halloween 2008 article.

I hated the wife in that movie.

Cheating on your husband is one thing, killing a bunch of guys (and him) to resurrect the guy you cheated on him with is quite another.

In the article about Anchor Bay's 2008 plans, the very last line is something like "High Def fans can look forward to the Blu-ray debut of Children of the Corn and Hellraiser."

Not an official announcement, per se, but it bodes well.

Ookie if you read the article on Anchor Bay, it mentions that Hellraiser and Children of the Corn will be released in Blu-ray for Halloween 2008. There is also mention of a release for "the 30 year anniversary of a horror classic." Sorry I tried to link to the specific page, but the link takes you to the cover page.

Just read the bottom of the last paragraph. It mentions that both Hellraiser and Children of the Corn are coming to Blu-ray.

Now I just need Evil Dead and Reanimator (as well as Universal releasing Army of Darkness and Shaun of the Dead) and my wishlist for the year is complete.
(Next year's list is much more demanding though)

I would love to see Re-Animator and Bride of Re-Animator on Blu-Ray.

I don't see whats holding them back with releasing Army of Darkness. All they have to do is port over the HD-DVD like they are doing with the rest of their titles. I hope this means that they are doing something special with it, but who knows, time will tell.

The anniversary that they are talking about has to be Dawn of the Dead.
Perhaps a super loaded edition.
Or it could also be Halloween.
Dimension/Weinstein owns the Zombie version so it could mean a boxed set of the originals.
The other surprise could be anything.

Yeah that is why I am expecting it sooner than later.
Anchor Bay has a director's bootled edition also, I do not care which hits first to be honest as long as one does.
