Twisted Metal at E3? - Blu-ray Forum

I hope they at least announce this at E3 a video would be awesome. I know its already been announced there making it in the last twisted metal game secretly but would love to see some information on it.

Take this with a MAYBE but I spoke with one of my contacts recently who said Sony had quite a lot on tap for E3 this week - especially a lot of previously unannounced titles.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a new Twisted Metal get announced, among other things.

I think i would actually play that online more than COD. Can you imagine what the online would be like? maybe like 16 players on a map just going crazy! that would be sweeeeet

Have you ever played Twisted Metal Online though? Well I've never played it though and I don't think I ever will because the servers to the game have been shut down just a few days ago. I think that the new game has been hinted on the PS2 version of TM: Head On though, and seeing how Incog did the online with Warhawk so well, we might see same story with Twisted Metal.

i sorry, im having trouble understanding your post. So do you think the online would be good or bad?

this will prob be totaly online like warhawk i think.

i hope they do have an offline mode as well but

I think it would be a mistake to not have an offline mode, because every other TM game has had split screen multiplayer.

It would probably be amasing. I mean, cars, guns, no wonder Sega tried to rip it off with a racing version called Full Auto.

I hope they announce it or shed some detail. I think 2 was the best IMO. I didn't like it when they switched devs to 989 or whoever it was. That was the worst one in the series. Minion was the $#*% in number 2 but in the one they did, he was weak.

It was a dark day for all Twisted Metal fans back in the day. I think switching back to Incog for Black was a brilliant comeback. As for Head On, it had a few flaws, like the controls, so I probably say that 3 and 4 wern't exactly the worst.

i had a game for the dreamcast that was just a rip off of twisted metal(but it was good) i cant for the life of me remember what it was called.

anyone know which game im on about

*edit* just googled "dreamcast twisted metal rip off" and i found it Vigilante 8 it was, i actually prefered that to twisted metal and would buy it in a second if we ever got dreamcast games on psn.

Y'know theres another Vigilante 8 game coming out for the XBL Arcade later this year.

Yeah, that upsets me. I emailed them several months ago before they announced it and they told me it was 360 exclusive. They have lost a costumer in me....
