This is going to be a must-have for me! I love both movies and I'm very pleasantly surprised to see this too. Usually with movie packs they try to include a dud to help sales with that release, but not here!

I'll definitely be picking it up. I just wish it were Gremlins and Gremlins 2 together. Sell Goonies separately and I'll pick that up too.

Well, hopefully this will see a US release soon as well. Even if these are region free, I don't want to go through the hassle or expense of importing them.

I take it that the 2-pack has 2 individual cases inside of it for the movies? I really hope so. And if it does, is the box for Gremlins included in that set the same as the individual release (the white box with Gizmo on it) or does it have the original poster artwork as features on Gremlins/Goonies combo box? I personally hope for the latter.

I have both Gremlins movies on DVD. I have the very early release of Gremlins with the original poster artwork on it. Unfortunately there wasn't much remastering done to that version. They later released the remastered version at the same time as Gremlins 2, but I only picked up the second one at that point. For a while I had been kicking around the idea of getting the remastered version of the first movie on DVD, but now I will just hold out for the Blu-Ray. I do hope this 2-pack get released in the US (because I also like the Goonies a lot), and I hope that the box for Gremlins has the orignal poster art... though if it doesn't I will still buy it.

It's not a Spielberg directed movie. He was involved with both Goonies/Gremlins though as producer.
