Hey all,
I recently got a motorola H500 bluetooth headset and was hoping to use it for CoD4. I was playing today and the headset stopped working after a few games. I had to quit the game, turn off the headset, reconnect the headset, and restart the game. I know the headset isnt bad because I have also been using it with my BlackBerry Pearl since I got it. I was using a motorola H300 before and it was doing the same thing. I though because it used a AAA battery it might be dying really fast. But the H500 has a built in battery and is advertised to last 7 hrs of talk time. Anyone else having an issue with the bluetooth not working after sometime? Any help would be appreciated. |

I'm pretty sure I have an H500 for my PS3 also, and it works good Most of the time, however there are times where I have to resync my Controllers, and the headset won't work either, usually a resyncing of the controllers, and a reboot of the system clears it up... It's happened to me twice, I'm not sure why, and IMHO it doesn't happen enough to become troublesome. I've never had the headset die on me mid-game though, thats weird.

I live in a 2 story house with a basement. the closets microwave is on the first floor while the ps3 is in the basement. Idk why but if a "server error" occurs during online play the headset disconnects. the controllers are fine but i end having to reconnect the headset by quitting the game. becomes a hassle when playing with friends.

I had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE with my motoralo (which I now use with my cellphone and works great). It kept disconnecting, wouldn't stay connected in the game, ect. (which was frustrating when the in-game XMB wasn't available cause I'd have to quite the game to turn it back on.)
I finally get sick of it and got the EXACT blu-tooth that comes with the Warhawk game. I had figured I never hear anyone who bought that game complaining about the headset - so it must be good. I was right. It works flawlessly with the PS3. Better, if I don't have it on and decide to turn it on while in the game, it automatically connects (no having to go into the accessory settings, etc.) I highly recommend it. It's cheap and works without issue with the PS3. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the earpiece is not as comfortable as other Blu-tooths I have had. Also, you can purchase the blu-tooth seperately (like I did since I had a download version of Warhawk) - you don't have to buy that game to get that specific blu-tooth earpiece. Hope that helps. |

i was thinkin of getting one of those warhawk ones, or even the MGS4, but amazon had the H500 as one of their lightning deals last week and I got it for $14.99 (BB has it for $60+). Since starting this thread i have had no problem with it (knock on wood) Havent done anything diff but as long is it works i am happy with it.
