Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Complete

just in case you didn't know FF7 ACC release date will be revealed at the Square Enix party later this year, as well as some huge news concerning Final Fantasy 7, could this huge news be the remake we've been hoping for, we'll have to wait to see.

ACCis on their list for the Square Enix event, but there is nothing for Final Fantasy VII so it would be best not to invent rumors that are not there.
The last couple of years the same rumor popped up with no foundation and then people were disappointed when the Square event and also TGS rolled around without Final Fantasy VII.
I personally have no doubt that it will happen, but they will not say a word about a remake until FFXIII and VSXIII are close to release.
If anything the safe rumor is Kingdom Hearts III though unfortunately the platform could either be great news or a tear jerker.

it's not a rumor. Tetsuya Nomura the lead character designer at Square Enix said it him self that there's supposed to be some huge news concerning Final Fantasy 7. If you don't believe me go to psxtreme.com.

This would be why it's important to quote your source in the original post.

Anyway, not sure if it's just me, but psxtreme.com doesn't seem to be a real website. At least not one about the Playstation or Square Enix in any way

And I'm not trying to say you are lying, but I agree with Ookie - they probably won't announce anything about a FFVII remake until XIII is out and VsXIII is close to completed.


After doing some additional research into this myself, all Tetsuya Nomura said was that there was a big announcement also going to be made besides the release date of Advent Children Complete. He didn't say the release had anything to do with a FFVII remake or even FFVII in general.

Here's a quote from the interview:

Q -With that notion, does ACC have any announcements?

Nomura: The release date will be announced. There is also a big announcement elsewhere, please look forward to it.
