Thinking of Upgrading

I'm thinking of upgrading my old H/K below for the new H/K 254. I've read in a previous thread that it's a good amp and I've been pretty happy with my old amp so I think I'll keep my loyalty. Any opinions on this upgrade?

Also I've been pretty happy with my old Vegas is it worth it to upgrade them as well. Keep in mind I'm not an audio expert?

"Why would you want to upgrade" ? If you've listened to other systems, and notice a night-and-day difference between them, and your own, and they're in a price range you're willing to work at..... then upgrade.... if not, then just be content.....

So, I am looking for ideas to upgrade my current system. I currently have the Sony HTIB 1000 watt with HDMI 5 disc changer, etc. I also have the Sony KDS50A-2000 SXRD Rear Projection that is 1080P and gives a fantastic picture with beautiful color. I have an 80G PS3 for my Blu-Ray player too. I would like some feed back for what I should upgrade and which I should upgrade first. Thank you all for your help!!

This one's easy: get rid of the HTIB and spend a few hundred on a decent budget receiver and speakers. The Onkyo 606 seems to be the fave budget receiver, and there are several speaker brands worth looking at. Listen before you buy!
