Yes, pre-rendered. So was that Lara? Didn't look like her. But Croft Manor just got blown to pieces. Yikes!

Looking forward to this one, the run up to Christmas is going to be chock full of top games to buy!

Here's a Question. If the Game went back to Its Roots, would it be Better than the Last Few Releases?

Personally, I've loved all her Adventures, but nothing compares to the First Few. But now the Things that Really set the Game apart have basically been added to so many games, it would be, to put it one way, underwhelming.

I don't know if I'm iterating this correctly... But think about it. If Tomb Raider 2 Came out for the First Time Today, great Graphics and everything we Can give it now, would it be a Good Game? And If they Try and Add on to This game, like they did with the RPG elements before, won't it just be Messing with what was once a "Good Thing", and again, just leaving it as a Mess?

wasn't TR aniversary a remake of the original, I can remember playing the original on my PC back along time ago.

The series has gone stale for me. TR:Legend was pretty good though, but I'll probably pass on Underworld. too many other great games in the next 3-4 months.

Tomb Raider?!! i just saw the trailer off of PSN, i wasn't expecting this and its great that it will be out.

I hope it can stack up to the cg footage


is it exclusive? (i ask only cuz at the end of the trailer it just lists PS)

No, it's not exclusive. I enjoyed Legend a lot more then I thought I would, I think because of my lowered expectations based on a few of the latest Tomb Raider games. I tried playing Anniversary but I couldn't get into it at all, it felt too clunky and some of the platforming just felt cheap and frustrating as hell. I hope Underworld takes some tips from Uncharted and creates a good balance between platforming and action. Which is ironic seeing as Uncharted seems to have based a bit of itself off Tomb Raider, just did it a lot better.

Why not?? I'm currently playing all the resident evil series... from ps1 to ps2... and hopefully next year on ps3, and I really enjoyed them all. I'm missing alot old time platformer too, like Crash or spyro. Ratchet is fun either is Jak, but it's fun old style gaming. They always add and add stuff to new games. But sometimes is fun just to sit back and start over!

So if you were a Tombraider fan (I was not) I don't see why you would not like a remake

I seen a preview of it in a magazine a few months back. Looks really good, but I'll wait till it's out to see the results and get feedback. Some of them are a hit and miss for me.

lol...I remember seeing someone say that she now looks like a Bratz doll....I agree....not sure on the art direction that they have taken with this one...Crystal Dynamics made a great last two Tomb Raider games...hopefully this one will continue..

This happens to be a title that I have never played before. I saw the video on PSN but it didnt really show any gameplay. Any suggestions or comments about this one. I do tend to like the action/adventure games...
