Stupid netflix only getting as a dvd!?!

They haven't sent it and now short wait...so I dunno what the deal is.

It seems this has been canceled or postponed.

I never saw a formal cancellation or delay notice from Vice Records, but the Blu-ray was never announced to retailers as far as I can tell. No major retailer has it for order... hopefully, we'll see it reannounced but I'm not holding my breath.

BTW, they are doing free "midnight screenings" tonight through 9am tomorrow at: http://cinema.lycos.com/electroma -- definitely not Blu-ray quality, but hey, it's free.

from what I've heard this is lacklustre at best - them just wandering hither and thither.... kind of like 'Brown Bunny' minus the bj scene.

I've just wrote to VICE records about this release and their answer was, and I quote:

"It was never scheduled to come out on blu ray. Reports of it coming out in Blu ray were a mistake. Sorry, VICE "

So there you go folks, don't wait for this on blu-ray!... Sad though, 'cause this film truly is a feast on the eyes, despite being quite boring...

Anybody own the ALL Region Blu-ray? There are listings on eBay for it at $40, which is still cheaper than the official OOP American DVD release. I can't seem to find any reviews on it.

Does anyone have any information on this? I'd be interested in picking it up, but it looks like it might be a bootleg.

Its legit. Released 2009 in Czechia, now out of print (few on ebay). Can´t find any reviews online. Transfer looks really good imho (only aerial desert shots are a bit worse), DTS-HD master audio, no extras (only trailer).
