Default Any Spawn remake?

I want it faithful to the Spawn universe, like the animated series on HBO.. Spawn the movie came out lame due to the PG or PG 13 rating.. Some say it doesn't matter. I beg to differ.

There's been talk on Spawn.com for a long time about a Spawn 2 co written by McFarland but looks like nothing has materialized unfortunately.

That movie was terrible. Let it die the death it deserves and let it be forgotten along with the first hulk movie, along with some nameless other turds.

You know what, even though it was a lower rating that it should have been, I enjoyed it and would still buy it on Blu-Ray.

However, a remake or sequel would be great too.

There were rumors about another Spawn movie, but from what I read it would be a departure from the series and not make him the Spawn he should be. If I remember correctly it was all about the inner struggle and NOTHING to do with Malbolgia or the Clown. What Spawn needs is a complete reboot ala Batman Begins.. bring on a totally twisted and evil Clown, not some goofball...bring on Billy Kinkaid (sp) the evil ice cream guy... The first Spawn comic I read was when he caught Billy and the last panel was Billy hanging dead in spawns chains, with the ice cream cones and sticks sticking out of him with the sign that said " He made boys scream, and he made girls scream, so I made him scream....and scream....and scream".... THAT is the Spawn we need to see on screen. After seeing Dark Knight, with the right director, it would be amazing

The R rated directors cut was a little better.

A remake of Spawn could be great. Look at what Batman Begins did to the Batman series of films.

there's not enough interest. besides i like spawn just fine. leave it be. i hate it when hollywood goes and tinkers with someone to try and get it right. often times they got it right the first time. leave it alone. it would just be another so-so comic book film and would ruin the film. the first one was fine and a decent little flick. don't screw with it.
