Anyone have links to reviews of their blu-rays?

I picked up The Orphanage at the weekend and transfer is terrible. It uses AVC and takes up only 13.9GB on a BD-25!

Detail is poor and blacks are shit throughout the film - really poor job, it's a shame the new line version is region locked.

Theres a nice array of extras but this seems to be at the expense of a decent encode.

he did'nt say he did'nt enjoy the film he said he did'nt like the way Optimum handled the release.

Exactly, great film - poor disc.

Optimum are getting ready to launch a load of titles in the UK so wait for some reviews before picking them up.

It was one of their first BD Releases. Let's give'em some time to perfect their technique
