Default Minor Ghosting : PS3, Samsung LN37A450, Blu-Rays

I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem.

I am using a PS3 to watch Blu-rays with my Samsung LN37A450, connected with an HDMI cable. I have been finding that in darker scenes in movies there is some minor ghosting when people move quickly across the screen.

I have looked over a ton of forums to figure out why this happening and a lot of the suggestions have helped combat the problem (example : i turned off all digital noise reduction and it mostly got rid of major ghosting in daylight/bright scenes), but it is still evident in night scenes, etc.

Can anyone help with this?
Thanks in advance!

many reasons. Ill start with your power. Make sure you got a good surge protector like monster power.

Calibrating your tv (i suggest ISF) can minimize this effect greatly

This could will help reducing it to a minimum.

From what I understand ghosting is inherent to LCDs and some people are more sensible to it than others (sadly you are cursed with sensitive eyes)... Better response time and 120 Hz display will minimize it but it won't go away.

Plasmas don't have this problem but they have phosphor lag.

I don't understand how a surge protector would help... You must be talking about power conditioning...

I had the same problem. Simple fix did it for me new HDMI cable. I originally had a monster cable, switched it out for another one and it worked fine. NO more ghosting. Maybe give that a shot.

I had ghosting in dark scenes with my PS3/Samsung LN-T4061F (The Orphanage and Saw IV come to mind as a couple blus where it was distracting), but following some calibration advice here on this site, I was able to reduce it to an "acceptable" level (i.e., it no longer is bad enough to hamper my viewing enjoyment; it's still noticeable in The Orphanage though, kind of reddish-colored ghosting).
