Christian Bale was arrested Tuesday for allegedly assaulting his 61-year-old mother and 40-year-old sister, according London's Daily Telegraph.

what an idiot.

I doubt he will serve much, if any, time. But it could delay any further movies. I doubt it will hurt the batman films much, the current ones and future ones.

Another instance that leaves me wondering why we care what celebrities do off the screen/stage etc...... Celebrity infactuation is disgusting.

I can't believe this! Right in the midst of all this hype and accolades for his record breaking movie. I can just imagine all the jokes now that the media is gonna say on this one.

"Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister," the star's lawyers said in the statement.

"Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale."

I agree it may be an exaggerated family dispute.
Women are just crazy too. Seriously, they are insane, but I'm not saying it's ok to hit them because of that. There was probably a dispute and things got blown out of proportion. Hope everything gets settled though. Christian Bale is one of my favorite actors and if he is innocent he does not deserve to be stained with this for the rest of his career.
