Questions about my HTPC HDCP Project

Hi their Blu-Ray forum friends. My name is Kevin and I'm looking for help in building a computer as a media center without the hassle of purchasing an external Blu-Ray player. I want to buy those 5" internal SATA Blu-Ray drives. Building the computer physically is nothing, I got that down. I have never touched HDCP though. Someone here please explain to me how should I go about this. How do I go about having Blu-Ray playback on a computer

What I Know:
1) Requires HDCP videocard
2) Computers don't have HDMI output yet
3) My "true" HDTV with HDMI doesn't have a DVI input
4) To physically build the computer

What I am asking:
1) Will the Geforce 8xxx HDCP videocards be compatible with an HTPC with Blu-Ray player?
2) Are there any Windows Operating System (NOTE WINDOWS) that can do HDCP playback?
2.5) Is Vista one of them?
3) Since my TV doesn't have DVI, should I get a DVI-HDMI cable?
4) If I go with an NVIDIA 8800GTS, will I play upon 1080p or 1080i always smoothly?
5) What is the recommended computer setup that you guys think I should get in building this HTPC?
6) Any help is appreciated, your tips and advice or experience with Blu-Ray and especially playback on computers
