Rock Band Store Not Working..

I try to go to the store, and it says it's unable to connect to the rock band server. Any ideas why?

I'm signed up for playstation network..the internet connectivity check succeeded..

And it's really frustrating..I was able to buy some songs but it was a more complex way and it was just put together alphabetically..So I really would like to get the store working..Anyone have any ideas why it isn't?

Hmm, fun question, it shouldn't matter, but worth asking, have you linked your rockband acct on the rockband website yet?

Nope. That didn't do anything. :/ Does it take a certain amount of time for it to even give it a possible effect?


Ok..So I looked around and apparently my NAT Type is Type 3..below it it says, When the NAt type is type 3, chat or the communication features of games may be restricted. For more information, refer to the online instruction manual.

Would that be what's causing it?

just buy the songs from the PS store....if u want to preview, youtube the songs....the charts will be there and you can see for urself

Try going into the PSN store and viewing your download history; there should be a button to re-download if you paid for the song via the game.

If your connection is NAT Type 3, you're at least partially firewalled. Are you using a router? If you are you'll need to open some ports up or place your PS3 into a DMZ.

I did both of those things..Still nothing :/ [Still says NAT type 3]

Might be your ISP then. Who do you go through for your Internet service?

NAT 3 typically means you have a configuration problem.

I ran into the same thing when I was in Rock Band Wednesday night. Its most likely the Rock Band store having some issues, as I was able to go to the PS Store and surf the web on the PS3 with no probs.

Hmm..Well..I just tried it again, and it worked!

I think it was just bad luck that the first time I try to go onto the store, it doesn't work.. :P Thanks everyone for your help!
