HELP! My PS3 is PINK!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Has anybody had any issues with their 40Gb PS3 playing SD Dvds with Pinks instead of Blacks. Basically, everything that is suppose to be shaded or black is coming out pink. None of my settings have changed before I updated to 2.41.

Go to your settings and turn off auto-detect and put on full RGB.

Already tried all of that. Going to bring it into WM today. Hopefully, they will accept it. I have no box and the receipt is faded.

The receipt faded shouldnt be a issue. If its readable still.
No box??? Hmmm i dunno about that.
If no luck. Put it on craigslist.

Food for thought.....
I always get the warranty and keep the box until i get the next system.
never had any hassels

no box shouldn't be a problem they will most likely keep the new box.

I had my system pull a pink screen on me.. I turned my PS3 off and turned the back power button off and re-seated all the HDMI connections. Turned everything back on and viola! no pink.

btw, pink is not a bad color... if ya know what I mean

I fear there would be a lot more PS3 mounting if they put out a pink one.
