Sony Digital Copy - Dark Crystal, Krull?

I know that Fox and Disney's ventures into Digital Copy-included releases have released their Copy files in safe iTunes compatible .MP4-variable formats...
BUT I DON'T...TRUST...SONY.

Sony still has a long history of pushing their "iPod-killer" WMV/PlaysForSure formats to the last breath, no matter what the market dictates--
So, before I double-dip for new DC-included SD releases of "Crystal" and "Krull" (7/29 and 8/05, respectively)--two movies I wouldn't mind having on my iPod--does anyone reading this by now know whether they're in "real" iPod compatible .MP4 format, or just a figment of Sony's stubborn imagination?
(The label reads "For your PC and PSP", which raised old grudges and suspicions.)

Digital copies work just fine on Ipods.
Take your Sony hate elsewhere.

If you are planning on getting import versions of these movies, you may not be able to use the digital copy

How about my Sony "They just won't give up the danged ship on MS-backed .WMV related digital files, no matter how hard we beat them over the head with low sales" frustration?--

Hence the necessary caution.

That's why those Digital backups are crap for me now, I don't have (and don't plan to get) an IPod, I would want to back up the copies for either my laptop or my soon to have PSP, but those Ipod restrictions are bullshit.

For the record, the PSP's main video format IS mp4...
