Star Shia LaBeouf Arrested for DUI - Blu-ray Forum

LOS ANGELES — "Indiana Jones" star Shia LaBeouf is under arrest for drunk driving after an early morning car accident in Hollywood.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sergeant S. Wolf says LaBeouf was the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a 3 a.m. collision at a street corner in Hollywood.

Wolf says that it was clear to officers who responded to the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated, and he was subsequently arrested.

Wolf says it is unknown whether LaBeouf will face felony or misdemeanor charges.

LeBeouf and his passenger were injured, as was the other driver. Wolf says the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.

it takes more than 1 DUI in Hollywood to mean anything, look at Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan....
They didn't go to jail for DUI, they went for violating their court ordered terms in relation to the conviction of the DUI

Good call on that, everyone. Why is it that celebrities are held to a lighter standard when it comes to crime? It goes from your Paris Hiltons and Lindsay Lohans all the way up to R. Kellys and O.J. Simpsons. Unbelievable or so it should be ...

I don't think anyone goes to jail for long for first-offense dui. I think here in Iowa you get 2 days in jail for first-offense, but you can go to a class instead of jail. I did read that Shia's injury is going to force him to miss a month of Transformers 2 shooting, don't know what effect that could have on the movie. http://www.tmz.com/2008/07/28/shia-n...t-a-month-off/

VA is one of the most severe states, I think its the higher the BAC, the more jail you get. First offense means 5-10 days in jail mandatory
