if this is just BD-J could some one burn it to a CD/DVD and play it in just about any BD player?

as far as i can tell this exploit is only for the ps3.

Its been over a year for the homebrew scene to do stuff to the PS3, I think that Sony have learned from the PSP really. What would be good is region free PS3 where you can play any DVD and any Blu Ray movies.

It appears to be just a BD-J game without the movie. (You already have movies with BD-J games) But it's a start...

thats exactly what it is. but its not going to lead to anything other than homebrew. for the people expecting this to lead to custom firmware and iso's, look up the meaning of homebrew.

everyone is kinda just wondering how powerful bdj is, hopefully some cool 3d stuff. theres some good homebrew games out there that'd be a blast to play on the ps3

What file do I put the roms in? Do the roms remained zipped?

Edit: nevermind, I figured it out.

If anyone wants, I can explain what I did to get it to work. SNES emu is just around the corner! Happy day!

you can view pictures(PNG, GIF, JPG) and nes.roms and run the roms (no sound)
note; when viewing picturs press x to view and x to return to screen
renaming .jpeg photos to .jpg makes them viewable lmao
unkowen what resolution the aplication switches to when activated

note for the emulation; The controls are simple; use either the left analog or the d-pad. The square button for "B" and the x button for "A". For start and select, simply press triangle to bring up the PS3's video options menu and then press 1 for select and 2 for the start button. Pressing 3 will return you to the rom-list selection menu and 4 will toggle between different frameskip options.

also if looking for roms guys check your favorite torrent site mininova.org and the piratebay.org are always great but only download if you legaly have the roms
