not sure im understanding you correct? (also do not own a samsung)

but you should be seeing very little to no camera movement as bluray is filmed at 24fps. Your tv being compatible using 120hz, should eliminate most camera judder.

Broadcast TV is ~30fps which will add extra frames giving the camera judder..

like objects on screen or the camera like glide from side to side or when theres movment.. it stands out at you when people move in certain scenes. im just wondering if i should be seeing that on blu-ray or not. just cuz at circuit they had cars in bluray playing and you could see when the car was in the pits talking to his truck

What he is trying to say is that he wants to see that LIVE Soap Opera look. Yes u can see it in ur blu ray as i have it that way with the 24p on. Just put it on medium depending on what samsung model u have. Some may need to be put on high but mine i can leave on low and i can see that live 3D look ur talking about but i sometimes put it on med. It depends on the blu ray ur watching. Put the ps3 on 24p ON, not auto, then make sure u have an HDMI Category 2 1.3A cable connected bet. the tv and ps3, set it on low and if u need more then try med/high depending on how u want it. On my xbr4 i have to set it on HIGH for me to get that look, on my sammy i set it on med to get it as of now.

yeah i get what you mean about settings and i have done that and still nothing. like if i change the motion to off, low, med, high on satellite tv then i can see the difference but have not seen it on bluray at all and ive watched about 5 movies on it so far old and new releases. i have this cable right here(http://www.penguinunited.com/product...i67bq43ho3q1n4)
i guess i can try a different cable. its just odd to me since the automotion works but not on the ps3. ill put a dvd in the ps3 and see if it works then. i think that maybe auto motion does work with HDMI.

No that cable is just fine. I actually put in a few blu rays in my ps3 and put my motion on high and i can see it clearly...it works for me with no problem using my ps3. I have my ps3 set to ON (not automatic) for the 24p force through/pass through signal, my screen on FULL both on the tv and the ps3 and the 1.3 monoprice hdmi. I can't say that it's ur tv's motion enhancer because u said it works for ur live broadcast so that i don't get. This may be off but try just leaving it on HIGH without changing it and then just turn everything off and power it up after a while and see what happens, u know, kinda like a cable box when it needs to be rebooted but again, this is just a stretch. I don't get why it would not work. 24p signal, u can certainly add that motion enhancement live look as i have it that way for all my blu ray.

best advice is to get the calibration disc and do it yourself...your viewing environment is different than other people. Their settings can help, but as you found out, they are not prime.

Talking Samsung LN40A650 Service Menu code please

Does ANYONE know how to get into the Samsung LN40A650's SERVICE menu? I know there is a NUMERICAL code. I lost it. I want to reset the entire tv and move the screen display picture up cause it shows too much junk on full scan.

I read in another forum that if u hit info, then menu, then mute, then power, fast....it would start with the service menu but it doesn't work at all.

Thanks
