Unofficial Announcement of Ninja Gaiden II on the PS3?

Someone on another forum emailed the head of Team Ninja about a patch for trophy support for NG:S. Unfortunately the email he got in return said they will not be doing a patch.

HOWEVER, in that same email it stated there WILL be trophy support in NG II.

Heres the email:

Dear Mr.Keiron

Thank you so much for enjoying our NINJA GAIDEN series.
As you said in your e-mail, we are now working on the sequel very hard.

We are definitely willing to make trophy system available in our sequel.
In order to deliver our new NINJA GAIDEN as soon as possible , we have to
continue to
move forward further.

I'm sorry that we cannot patch trophy system into NINJA GAIDEN Sigma.
However, I'm sure that your skills (NINJA skills!) will help to make you
perform prominent moves
in our sequel!!

Please look forward to our new NINJA GAIDEN while brushing up your skills
further!!

So did he just let slip that Ninja Gaiden II (either a port from the 360 version or a completely NEW game for the PS3) is coming sometime in the near future?

I would say yes.
