New member with PS3 ? - Blu-ray Forum

I read somewhere that the PS3 can be used as a PC. Does anyone know how to get it to work as a PC? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I think there is a spot in the instruction manual that tells you how to install another operating system (note: Linux OS are the only things that work at the moment, i believe.)

Yellow dog linux seems to be one of the one that a lot of people install because the build allows for certain things that others do not wiht the video in such, but others work as well.

There is a YDL distro optimized for PS3, but the only problem I have heard of so far is that there is no driver for wireless networking.
