Dan in Real Life - Copyright Violation? - Blu-ray Forum

I received Dan in Real Life from Netflix and it will not play. It says on the screen "Copyright Violation". Has anyone had this issue? Is this an issue with the disc or my Panny 30?

I had that message with one Netflix rental. I cleaned the disc and tried it again and it played fine.

It happened to me on my Death Race rental from Netflix. Got the "copyright violation" message on my BD30. It played on my PS3 fine although load time was slower than usual.

You and Irrob have the same Panny, so probably is indeed the Panny. A shame Coolmilo did not report if they also had the Panny.

I rented and ended up buying Dan in Real Life and never had a problem playing it on my Sony BRP.

Sounds like a problem with that specific disc. I have a BD30 and my copy of DiRL plays fine.
