Does anyone have any info about a release date for Days Of Thunder on Blu? This movie would sound awesome with lossless audio!

i have to agree! another one of my favorite flicks....imagine the sounds of those V8 engines slamming around the track in DTS HD MA.

The clip when Cole Trickle first drives Rowdy Burns' car at charlotte, and he "drops the hammer," was used as a surround sound demo inside of Sams Club for YEARS. It was about 10 years ago though. I dont know if it was for Dolby, or Bose, or what

And yea it sounded amazing.

another racing flick that would sound great would be Driven with stallone! F1 cars sound wicked.

if i do recall that its a warner bros flick...so it will most likely have true hd

Oh hell yeah one part that whould kick ass is the part when there racing the cars in the city at nite god i may just have to watch it on dvd tontie.

I am really looking forward to this one.

The SD DVD throughout every release around the world has non anamorphic Picture.

I had been eagerly awaiting an SE release of the SD DVD, was very surprised about the news of the Blu-Ray release. As this will definitely be anamorphic

Does anyone know if it will be coming to the UK at the same time, or if so when.

If it wont be coming to the UK does anyone know if the US version will be Region free to play on my UK PS3.

Being a Nascar fan, a Tom Cruise (the actor that is) fan, a Tony Scott fan, and the fact I've held off seeing this movie my whole life waiting for a decent release of it, yeah, I'm STOKED about the Blu Ray release!

I really want it.

Does Cole's brother Dick Trickle make a showing? And no, I'm not joking about the name. He was a Winston Cup driver too.

no dick trickle (what a good guy he was)... this is going to kick butt on blu. The release date I have down is 12/30. Driven would also be GREAT

Yeah, I've never seen Driven also. I'm a Stallone fan so not sure why I never did. But I'd grab it on Blu. It would sound and look sweet.
