Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring Ang Lee's 'Hulk' to Blu-ray on September 16th. The film, which made its high definition debut on the now defunct HD DVD format, will come on a BD-25 utilizing 1080p video and a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

Extras will mirror that of the previous HD DVD release, and appear below:
Feature Commentary with Director Ang Lee
Deleted Scenes
Evolution of the Hulk
The Incredible Ang Lee
The Dog Fight Scene
The Making of Hulk
The Unique Style of Editing Hulk
U-Control Tutorial Static Images; Picture in Picture
U-Control - My Scenes
Idk about anyone else, but im gonna pick it up

It's always a good thing to see Universal starting to introduce more and more catalog titles to the format...on that note, I thought the movie was horrible and is a pass for me.

Well, considering this was one of the best looking High Definiton discs I owned on either format, this should look great as well on Blu-ray. Should be a treat for anyone who likes the film.

I actually liked this movie. Nick Nolte was an excellent villian, the story was intelligently written and engaging as drama, and the comicbook panelling was pretty neat. (In a way, I'm kind of glad it failed at the box office. Had it been successful, one could easily imagine every hack in Hollywood trying to replicate that comic-book splitscreen and failing terribly)

As a matter of fact, I'd even rate it as one of the my absolute favourite superhero movies, ever. Just below 'Batman Returns' and 'The Dark Knight' and just ahead of 'Superman'

Now that's interesting... Specs are saying it will be a Blu-ray 25 gig disk (that's something like 22.5 gigabytes)
I just put my HDDVD in the drive, and it's a full 27.9gigabytes (ie. a full '30 gig' HDDVD)

Although, that may be partly because of all the alternate language tracks (even so, the HDDVD didn't have a full DTS HD MA audio track) (Mine is the Australian/European disk, btw (hence all the other languages)

One of my favorite comic movies. And my most wanted HDDVD exclusive. SO happy it's on the way.

I'm in the middle on this one, might be nice to see Hulk in HD, but, I didn't really like this film, but, I didn't hate it either, my wife liked it better then I did. But, after seeing the new Hulk movie, I didn't love that one either, I think there were elements in both movies that were good, and if combined, the movie could have been better, but, tons of problems with the films also.

If it's $20 like the Mummy movies (which there's no reason why it shouldn't be), I'll probably pick it up.

Definitely picking it up, but REALLY looking forward to the extra 70 minutes of the already amazing "The Incredible Hulk".

This is the 2003 version (not the new one that was in theaters this year).

This movie is simply too long to look great on a BD-25. I hope that is a mistake in the listing.

You haven't seen the HDDVD, I'm guessing.

Heck, the three hour King Kong (including three hours of U Control) is still considered one of the best demo pieces available, and the Blu-Ray TMNT looks incredible, at less than 15 gigabytes (including all the extras)
For that matter, Planet Earth fits almost three hours of incredibly sharp imagery onto each 25gig disk.
