Default has "The Batman Anthology" been officially confirmed?

I remember hearing a few months ago that we'd be getting the first 4 Batman films on Blu-ray around the same time "The Dark Knight" is released. I haven't heard anything official about it, was this just a rumor? I figured that with library titles like Bond and The Godfather just being confirmed after being rumored for months the Batman films wouldn't be far off, but nothing official yet. Any news on this?

officially, no it hasn't. WB has briefly stated that they hope to have it ready by year end but it may get pushed back into '09.

It's very likely that the anthology will be released on the same day that Dark Knight hits Blu.

It will probably get announced when The Dark Knight is announced for Blu-ray. The Batman films have already been announced for the UK.
