Pirates of the Caribbean framing issue - Blu-ray Forum

Is it too late to get the replacement disc through Disney? I'm guessing so because it's been so long now, but I thought I would ask before I just go buy another copy. I originally purchased mine when it was released, but hadn't watched it or heard of the problem until now. Someone let me know and I checked out my disc.

When they first released it last year there was a scene where the heads were cropped off. I think Disney was sending out free replacement discs back in December, but I don't know if that offer still stands.

hey, exactly where does this happen? i heard about this issue but I never payed attention.

I think it was when Will was sword fighting in the Blacksmith's shop.

Send Disney an e-mail and check it out. What have you got to lose?

Check out 25:39 into the movie. If you can see Orlando Bloom's head whole head you're good. If his head is cut in half you've got the old one. I don't think they have a cut off date for the replacement.
