So who has this BD? I'm ordering it this weekend. I love this movie very much and am anxiously awaiting getting it.

I noticed it's got the same extras as the regular DVD does, but the picture is supposed to be pretty good. Same with audio.

Two TRUEHD tracks (one german one english) so that's cool I guess.

Same here. Some scenes don't look very good but its intentional. Think portable video camera.

Yeah, just watched it two nights ago, actually. Not all of it looks great (as said before, the video parts), it still looks pretty good and the audio is decent. Fun flick to watch. Also enjoyed the newer interviews with her and the director, and their comments there. First time for me to see the music video as well. Hadn't seen the movie in years. She was cool in that red do, but to think she didn't wash it for 3 months to do the film! Yuck.

I do own it, but haven't watched it since it arrived shortly after the BD release. From what i recall, I was properly impressed with the PQ and AQ. I agree that it did a good job preserving the flim like appearance. Great flick in any case. Enjoy.

One of the few movies I have double-dipped on so far (the others being Batman Begins and 2001).

Anyone know? I like the German cover better but it says region B but the US version is region free which does not make much sense.

Thank you, it took me a little while to get the hang of that site but now it makes sense.

The US release appears to be a little bit sharper with more grain. It was released by Sony and the UK Blu is also from Sony, so it is probably safe to buy that.

I purchased the German release over the UK release due to the AQ.

This is odd. The U.S. release is 81 minutes (according to this site and the back covers) but the UK release is listed as 79 minutes, almost as if there was a PAL speed up going on. Hopefully someone just forgot to update the case art, but if not...

If you checked the back covers for running times, you'll have also noticed that the audio and subs are exactly the same.
