What is happening here?

What is going on with the moderation here lately? I report several posts on a regular basis that are clearly in violation of the forum rules, yet nothing is done. Meanwhile, members who have been here for quite some time get suspended for breaking no more rules, if any rules at all, than the posts I've reported. Post *****s and thread crappers run rampant and nothing is done about it, despite the posts being reported. I have volunteered to moderate on some level, since apparently somebody who spends some time on the forum needs to take some action in some of these areas, but I haven't received any response. There are a lot of valuable members who helped this place become what it was (approximately six months ago . . . what it is now I'm sure many of the older members want no responsibility for) who are getting tired of the **** and are going elsewhere, leaving this place to become a cesspool. Disappointing.
