Wal-Mart exclusive Elvis: Viva Las Vegas - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone else see this blu-ray title at Wal-Mart today? Its the live television event and NOT the elvis movie previously available. It had a $19.95 sticker on it and features interviews and performances from many of todays current stars. This was the first I had seen of this. Anyone else?

It came out today, it's a Wal-Mart/Sam's Club exclusive. It was on television Monday, and then came out on DVD and Blu-ray today.

I didn't see it on TV, I am curious to purchase it. I'll probably pick it up tomorrow and let you know what I think. Are you more interested in the actual content, or the PQ/AQ?

I bought the new Walmart-exclusive Elvis BD the other day and it sucks!! The picture will only display in the top left corner of the screen and nothing I can do fixes it. I know of one other person who has had this problem, so I think the whole shipment may be defective. When I tried to return it though, they wouldn't take it back b/c there hasn't been a recall placed on it. They told me to try calling corporate but I doubt that will fix anything. Has anyone else purchased this, and if so did you have the same problem?

I bought Viva las Vegas on Blu-ray a few months ago from Amazon and works fine. No issues.

oh Walmart has the rights to sell them via their stores only , like futureshop were able to sell i am legend as a steel book but only in canada.

Pere, the "Viva Las Vegas" Warner Blu-ray you have is a movie done by Elvis and Ann-Margret in the 60's. The "Elvis: Viva Las Vegas" Walmart Blu-ray being talked about is a recent program/special with several performances by other artists made for TV recently. Two different discs.

"Elvis: Viva Las Vegas" is sold at Walmart stores.

Just bought it/watched it as a blind buy and was surprised at just how good it was. It was also nice to see footage from 'Elvis: That's The Way It Is' in high def. Definitely worth a look...

I posted a review on my site blu-news.com, and it's only 720p. I thought it was 1080p until I checked. TrueHD audio though. No issues with the release though.

I picked this up on Amazon from $5 thinking it was a concert, didn't realize it was a documentary. Watching it now.
