Thumbs up The most realistic Baseball games EVER are almost here...

I must say I am highly anticipating the two Baseball releases coming to PS3 - MLB2K7 in March and MLB07 - The Show in April.

The video for MLB2K7 looks very impressive - I haven't bought any new games since the launch of PS3 awaiting these releases - these are going to be awesome.

Any one else pumped about the releases and who's your favorite team? I love the Toronto Blue Jays - been watching them since 1978.

I'm also super pumped about both games, although I think MLB : The Show is going to be better. Graphics look out of this world. The Yanks are my team by the way so I guess we'll be duking it out in the East.

I didn't realize that any media for the show had been released. What I have seen are 2 very small pics that looks quite poor. Guess I'll have to look again, if it's not out, it better be out soon if they want to compete with mlb.

Although I will say that I am definitely RENTING mlb 07 first, as their gameplay has always performed like Phil Mickelson down the stretch.

Nice! I'm a baseball fan through and through, in fact, I've been having to take some time off from posting here seeing how ESPN just got a FREE fantasy baseball league.

Baltimore Orioles are my squad. Looks like I'll be battling some of you in the AL east. I freakin can't stand the Yankees...as a matter of fact I'm having trouble finding any other great Yankee moment than them losing to the Diamondbacks in the World Series or them losing four straight to Boston.

Bring on the sweet graphics!

I've played the 2K5 and 2K6 and they have been very good. This 2K7 looks phenominal. I've just put a deposit on 2K7 about an hour ago at EB Games - it's confirmed to be out Feb. 27 - Sweetness.

Let's Play Ball Boys!

I've played seasons through both MLB 2K6 and MLB 06 : The Show, and I thought that The Show was by far the superior of the two. Of course everyone has different opinions so you could think differently.

The Show has a career mode where you create a player and you can just play as him (No managerial decisions, only his at bats, etc.) Also, if it's like last year The Show will have real unlockable legends (Ty Cobb, Cy Young, etc.) while 2K won't.

Both games should be pretty sweet though and I'll be picking up both.

I'm really interested in how MLB:2k7 turns out because they brought over the lead developer from the MVP baseball series.

Yeah, me too because MVP 2005 is my favorite baseball game of all time. Hopefully they improved the base running over last years edition.

Default changeing stadiums

will this game allow you to switch to different stadiums throughout the Major Leagues? Will it show Fenway Park for example?
