American Gangster, Casino, Eastern Promises - 10/14 - Blu-ray Forum

The Digital Bits reports that Universal revealed a release date of Octoboer 14th for American Gangster, Casino & Eastern Promises. A Gangster Giftset will also be available with all three titles.

American Gangster is a definate for me as I passed on the DVD, waiting for the Blu release. Casino is a no brainer double dip and Easter Promises will stay in my DVD collection, no double dip on that one.

Side note:
You'll also notice in the article there are release dates for Chronicles: Prince Caspian (12/2) and Monster's Ball (11/4).

I'm getting American Gangsta and casino but I would have to see Eastern Promises first. I know it's directed by David Cronenberg and I didn't care for The History of Violence at all which he also directed.

I wanted to get this but after getting the comedy pack and the sub "quality" i'm going to wait for a review for this boxset / movies before i buy them. Don't get me wrong , i'm happy with the comedy boxset since i didn't have the dvds but still, could have been a lot better.

Haven't seen American Gangster or Eastern Promises but i'll pick up the 3pack because Casino is such a B.A. movie.

Eastern Promises is a very good movie!!

Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortenssen(sp?) do a really good job in it...

Watched the recent Poltergeist DVD a few months ago. It didn't do much for me... was disappointed I'd wasted 10 bucks or so on it. Definitely not ever going Blu-Ray on that one.

It was a decent red over here. So no need for me to double-dip, but recommend it for those of you that are thinking about it on blu.

May check out American Gangster, possibly Casino if it ends up being significantly better on blu than red (haven't watch it yet).

(Find myself needing to cut back too...

... should probably watch American Gangster on that DVD I have before blind-buying it again.)
