Default Blu Ray addiction a Disease ?

What do you guys think? I have over 80 blu rays and over 20 hd dvd, before I never purchased and normal dvds really. Do you think this is because an upgrade from a crt tv to 1080p lcd, ps3,xbox360, onkyo605 ?
The sound and movies are so clear its amazing. I dont even go to movies anymore in the theaters becuase blu ray is clearer and better.
I just love those pretty little blu ray boxes too! Every week all I can do is think about what new releases to buy in blu ray.
How many blu-rays do the rest of you own????? am I addicted????

I totally think it's an addiction. I buy almost any HD-DVD or Blu Ray that sounds even halfway interesting. Mostly just to own it. I still go to the Theatre from time to time though. Just watched "The Mummy 3" which I thought wasn't so bad btw.
As for my addiction: I am up to 150 HD-DVD's and 75 BD's.

Once they hit the video stores I either rent 'em or buy 'em, usually 3 a week. No time for anything except work and Blu

It is not an addiction. Just evolution. How does one watch regular DVDs or blurry Cinema screens when hidef cable is superior, and Blu-ray even better

I think it's an addiction. I've been buying Blu since May last year and have 43 BD's. For a while i was buying 2-3 a week but now down to 0-2 a week. BD's are hurting my wallet

My fever has worn off but I do have more BDs and HD DVDs than my paltry SD DVD collection. I never really collected movies I enjoy till now.

Now if you want to talk CDs and vinyl....

No, you're living the in the birth-of-DVD 90's, when you think you have to buy every title to fight the "war"...

The rest of us are equally addicted, but have learned to live happy, normal functional lives with our Netflix patch.

Oh, I'm so addicted.

I have over 70 in my collection and can't stop scouring amazon and these forums for new deals. Everyday.

I've slowed down a lot lately because I felt I was starting to buy movies I wasn't a whole lot interested in and with the release slate really getting good for the rest of the year, I needed to save.

It will be a frenzy of blu buying from September to December though!!

I love collecting movies, and the quality present in Blu-ray makes the attraction that much greater. 194 Blu-ray movies so far

Yes you are, and so do I.
I think the only cure for that disease is the forthcoming of the super ultra high definition disc...

Big time addiction, I am currently suffering withdrawals (just bought a truck and haven't bought a blue in 3 weeks - it hurts!).
