PS3 as a web browser question? - Blu-ray Forum

I don't usually use it but there are a few shows on toonamijetstream.com That I would watch and I would rather watch it on my TV instead of the computer.

I typed in the address an it was on the page and the page said it was loading things until it got to the part where its says starting toonamijetstream it just looks like its loading it and nothing happens. (I haven't tried any other stuff like abc.com nbc.com to watch full episodes of shows)

Am I doing something wrong or can it just not bring up toonamijetstream.com?

That site probably requires an newer version of flash or another codec/plug-in that the PS3 doesn't support.

If you install Linux though, it would more than likely work.

The PS3 does not have a good version of flash and is impossible to upgrade at this time. Adobe does not support the cell chip as of now, and that is one of the big sticking points of linux/browser compatibility with the PS3.
