Any idea why Sony discontinued The Da Vinci Code Blu-ray?

I've always wanted to have this on blu-ray but when i look it up on amazon, it says, "This item has been discontinued by the manufacturer."

It was not discountinued, since it was never released. Studios postpone or delay releases for many reasons. The Davinci Code was postponed, and I do not the reason why. Expect the movie to be released in Blu when Davinci Code II hits the theaters.

Yeah it will probably be released when Angles & Demons, which is the prequel to The Da Vinci Code, come outs (Not the Da Vinci Code II lol) i cant wait for it to come out on Blu i loved the movie

I concur....Angles and Demons will prompt a bd release of the original...maybe even some movie cash...this is another one I've held off buying until it comes out on blu!

There's a movie version for Angels and Demons? Cool, this book was so much better then The DaVinci Code. Robert Langford, Dead Pope, Illuminati. Can't wait to see this one.
