Paramount Titles Will Not Play On My Pioneer

I have over 150 titles, and the only 2 that cannot load are the two new Paramount titles "Hunt for red October" and "Clear and present danger".

I use a Pioneer BDP-LX70 with the original firmware because I can play all regions with it, both on BD and DVD.

Has anyone experienced the same problem with these titles, purchased from Amazon.com?

update the firmware, I have sold a few, one to australia and one to UK on ebay and no one has complained yet about being region locked

As soon as I installed V2.2 I could not play Region 1 DVDs, so I reverted to the original V2, with no problems. Anyway, the problem with these titles is not related to regions, so the question remains unresolved.

v2.2 is quite old ... did you try v2.47?

Where did you purchase your BDP-LX70? Looking at your location I would presume Taiwan. If so, try the following firmware update:
