Question PS3 Blu-ray and 720p projector?
PS3 is due for release on the 23/03/07 in Aus ( 1 month to go ), I have my pre release order in but finding info has been difficult. Sony Australia was unable to answer the following 2 Questions.
1. When showing a Blue-ray movie on a projector (Panasonic PT-AE900E) which has a native resolution ao 720p (is capable of 1080i I belive) will the PS3 automaticaly drop the res to 480p as some sources are indicating? *note I will be useing component cables not HDMI.
2. The PS3 is SACD compatable will the fact that I will be using optical output affect this, as all other SACD players use Mullti-ch output leads?
