So who here has ben to A nin concert on there tour this year?

They are coming to my home town in november and i am going

i am just in a dilemma on what kind of ticket to get

its either

A. Seating

or

B. Standing Ga

Its in an arena

ive only ben to one standing room concert (insane clown posse) and it was in a tiney ass shitty club it was hot as hell, and the pushing and shoving was nuts.

How rough is a NIN crowed ?

Ive weight out the pros and cons of seating and standing but still cant decide


Pros of standing

1. Oppertunity to get up front
2. Can some what freely dance around
3. Its a small arena so i wouldnt have to treck far to get to the front

Cons

1. The pushing and shoving
2. the immense Heat
3. Some jerk brings a knife and decides to start stabbing people
4. If i want to buy some merchindise id have to wait tell the end of the show when they are about sold out


Pros of seating

1. None of the cons of standing
2. and i can go and come as i please

So as you can see, my pros and cons basicly out weigh eachother and im back to square one!

I haven't seen them on this tour, but I've seen them twice before (and will probably end up going in October). Their crowds usually aren't too bad. I've had seats both times and was immensely satisfied with the experience. Best SQ of any live shows I've ever been too. Trent's meticulous with that stuff.

I've been in a standing crowd for one show and I hated it. I was paying more attention to not getting kicked in the face (which ended up happening) by some stupid ******* who's jumping around like an idiot than watching the band.

yea thats what i was worried about and crowed surfers kicking me in the back of the head, id like to try and get front row, but im guess im going to look and see how close seats i can get to the stage.

i think the last concert i went to was dave matthews


quite excited about Nin well be my first NIN concert, i was allitle surprised Our town got them booked, i think its great our arena is trying to play to all audiences family and the adult

If you even have to ask if you should be seatting or in the pit, you should be seatted. I don't care how tame a pit is, if there's standing room, I'm going to start one. I likely will be that **** next to you that slams into you getting it started. I assume if somebody is going to pay the money to be on the floor, that they are there to enjoy all of it.

Also don't even worry about somebody bringing a knife, I've been to tons of concerts, and never once has anything like that happened.

I always get my t-shirt in the very beginning of the concert as I arrive there with plenty of time to pick it up.

You can come and go from the floor as much as you want, you just have to fight your way back to the front, which isn't as hard as it sounds if you are aggressive enough.

So, it boils down to, what do you enjoy more? A good healthy mosh pit, or a nice tame seat?

I was going to see DMB on August 13th, and NIN on August 13th in Oklahoma City, but school started on the 14th.

Totally depends on how big the stadium is... check where the dedicated seating area is located. Then of course its up to you if you like to get involved in a crowd going apesh*t during certain songs or just hang and listen to the music, with the benefit of seeing the band act on stage.

I always have to be in crowd, but then again NIN is not my cup of tea

I saw them on there Fragile tour in 2000, a little band named A Perfect Circle opened for them, it was probably the best concert, just beat out the Tool tour of 2001...
